Sponsors and Patrons

The patron of Galway Civic Trust is the Mayor of Galway City.

Since first established Galway Civic Trust has received continuous financial assistance from many state and semi state agencies, and all forms of Corporate and private sector support. The most notable being:

FasFás is the National Training and Employment Authority in Ireland. Through it's various employment training grants Galway Civic Trust has been able to employ an average 20 people each year. Fás is singly the Trust's biggest sponsor as it provides most of the manpower requirements for our current projects. In return the Trust has completed many outstanding projects down through the years and a significant number of our project workers have progressed to secure full time private sector employment.

Galway City Council has embraced the Civic Trust concept and has been extremely supportive. In addition to the annual grant the council's elected representatives and officials have assisted and encouraged the work of Galway Civic Trust whenever possible.
