Transition Year Competition

The Trust runs an annual competition for Transition Year students in Galway entitled Capturing Galway's Heritage. The competition encourages young people to engage with a facet of Galway's rich and varied heritage and to present it an appropriate project format. Previous winners and projects include Presentation Convent's Architectual Heritage of Galway, Galway Community College's Life and Times of Bareknuckle Slave Boxer Tom Molineaux and Dominican Colllege's Galway Harbour: Past, Present and Future. Schools wishing to participate in the competition should contact the Trust for further details.
