Welcome to Galway Civic Trust
We are a heritage organization which undertakes projects that make a real and appreciable difference to the attractiveness of Galway as a place to live and work in, or to visit.
Galway Civic Trust has completed more than 50 projects since it was founded in 1992. Our work ranges from small-scale tasks such as the erection of plaques and the floodlighting of O'Brien's Bridge, to large-scale projects like the restoration of the Mutton Island Lighthouse and Keeper's Cottages.
This site is designed to establish an online presence for our organisation and to keep the public informed by our on-going programme of activities throughout Galway City and its environs.
